This post is for you.
You will be missed.
Thank you for living fully at age 26. Witnessing your transition last night onto the next was surreal for me and Aleona, we will never ever forget that moment for the rest of our lives.
To say that Life is too short and fast will now forever be an understatement.
You’ve been a constant Warrior all your life and I’m sure you will be on the next. I appreciate now more than ever your feedback when you read my book – you were my very first reader outside of Aleona and your excitement from then, rigors down my heart today as I think about you and what we witnessed last night.
I know you’ve had a rough life and I know you’ve tried your best – your VERY best – to make the most out of it. I’m glad that the struggle is now over for you. May you rest in peace and live in harmony with God and everyone up above.
Lyndsay – if you can hear me – thank you for your life, for your spirit, and undying quench to fight for what is right even if the opponent is far bigger and stronger than you. Your courage is what will continue to resonate with me as I try to mimic it for my own life. You are loved and will always be loved.
Do not worry about your brother, your mom and your dad, they will be fine and we for sure are going to be here for them on your behalf.
Do not worry about our homeless ministry for I know now for sure that we have that fight covered. Because regardless of what the City does or doesn’t do, regardless of what the Church does or doesn’t do, through you and your example – we will continue to serve and do the right thing.
I love you and I am truly sorry if I wasn’t there when this happened but I am grateful and honored that we got to see you one last time.
I promise from this day forth to have the courage that you did, to continue to expand and evolve to become even bigger and better and fight for what we believe in.
I am truthfully honored to have known you, you will surely be missed.
Rest in Peace Lyndsay, say hi to the Kingdom.

Reggie, I don’t know Lyndsay, but this is a beautiful tribute to her … and food for thought for all of us. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you Pearl. Lyndsay is one of the people I was working with for the last 3 years. I met her when she was only 23, she was the first person whoever read a rough draft of my book “Light It Up” and she was highly encouraged by it. She was making tremendous strives over the past 3 years in trying to get her life to a better place. But unfortunately, things took the wrong turn the last Saturday and she passed away at 26.
